- Donations can be dropped off anytime the library is open - please enter through the front doors. Please ask if you need assistance. Because of space limitations, we limit 2 boxes per month per household.
- Larger collections: please email dennis luther: lutherd@brentwoodpubliclibrary.org or call 412.882.5694 to make drop off arrangements or for a house call.

Friends of the Brentwood Library
The Friends of the Brentwood Library is a group of citizens that promote our commmunity library.Friends of the Library:
The Friends Group supports the library in many ways :
Friends Book Sale
- In good condition: Books, hardback and paperback, DVDs, Music CDs, CD Books, Games, Albums, and Comics.
- Older books, even though they may show their age.
- No encyclopedia sets, except pre 1940 Britannic Encyclopedia Sets or any sets published in the last 5 years.
- We will consider unique magazine sets such as auto/truck, book collecting, crafts, or trades, and consider unique encylopedia sets.
- Please, no VHS tapes, cassettes, or misc. magazines older than one year.
- Please, no National Geographic sets.
- Please, no musty, moldly, smelly, or damp items.

James Joyce Library Memorial Scholarship
2024 scholarship awarded to Kiersten Finnigan

The James Joyce Library Scholarship is presented by the Brentwood Library Board of Trustees in memory of former Brentwood Mayor James Joyce. Mayor Joyce was an avid supporter of the library and the youth of the community.
The annual scholarship is $500 and will go to a high school senior who is furthering his or her education through either
a college or vocational program.
Requirements to Apply:
- Applicants must be a resident of Brentwood Borough
- Applicant must be a high school senior
- Applicants have a GPA of 3.0 or above
- Applications will be judged first and foremost on the merit of the plan presented
The scholarship winner will be announced at Brentwood High School Senior Awards night. back to top
