James Joyce Library Memorial Scholarship
2020 scholarship awarded to Adele Sedlar
The James Joyce Library Scholarship is presented by the Brentwood Library Board of Trustees in memory of former Brentwood Mayor James Joyce. Mayor Joyce was an avid supporter of the library and the youth of the community.
The annual scholarship is $500 and will go to a high school senior who is furthering his or her education through either
a college or vocational program.
Requirements to Apply:
The applicant will be asked to present a plan that will create a positive change within the library or present a new idea that can improve the library and its services and programming. There will be several follow-up questions including programming implementation and foreseen obstacles.
The scholarship winner will be announced at Brentwood High School Senior Awards night.
